When you think about mentorship, the image of having coffee with a senior leader or CEO and receiving advice comes to mind; but that is not always the case. Mentors might take on the role of counselor, coach, advisor, teacher, and therapist all rolled into one. Mentoring is not always a formal process, but rather is a product of engagement and observation.

In this first edition of the Women in Dairy Virtual Gatherings, we will discuss how to recognize mentors who possess the strengths and skillsets that you identify with personal development and moving your career forward. We will also focus on how to become a mentor by setting expectations and taking a true interest in your mentee.

The Virtual Gathering will be hosted by Courtney Bidney, Director, Global Scientific and Regulatory Affairs, Yoplait USA.
