Zarin Mitchell

Director, ESG and Sustainability, PwC

Zarin is a Director in PwC’s National ESG practice based in Richmond with more than fifteen years of experience in accounting, tax, power and utilities, energy and sustainability.

Zarin specializes in ESG strategies, TCFD frameworks, investor and stakeholder engagement, governance and process improvement/controls.

Zarin joined PwC in 2022 from a large utility company, where she led the Sustainability and Climate Reporting efforts for the company, advised senior management on process improvements, GHG Protocols, peer benchmarking and investor engagement. Zarin also led multiple efforts across the company to educate senior leadership on decarbonization strategies, setting commitments and implementing and executing ESG strategies.

Zarin holds a Masters in Accountancy from DePaul University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Virginia.
