Carmen Becker is Vice President and General Manager of Specialty Containers at Amcor Rigid Packaging (ARP).
Specialty Containers is a critical business within the ARP portfolio supporting customers in the food (including fluid dairy), healthcare, home and personal care and wine and spirits segments. The business supports large multi-segment customers with a robust product portfolio and its diversity of manufacturing platforms.
Prior to ARP Carmen was President and CEO of Tetra Pak’s US and Canadian business. In that role, she had full P&L responsibility for all aspects of the North American business, including packaging material, equipment and technical service. During her 20-year career at Tetra Pak, Carmen held a variety of U.S. and European-based roles of increasing responsibility.
Carmen began her career as a shift supervisor with The Timken Company before moving into finance positions at Rain Bird Corporation and General Motors.
A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Carmen holds a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering. She also received a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Business Administration, Finance, from the University of Notre Dame.
