“Change is inevitable.” It’s phrase often used at workplaces to explain transitions and shifts in the way we do business. In the latest episode of The Dairy Download, we hear from two dairy cooperative CEOs – one taking on a new position, and one retiring – and discuss the changes they’ve made and are making in the industry.

First up is Robert Chesler, who took on the CEO role at United Dairymen of Arizona in July 2021. “Everything is fair game for change. … We're looking under every rock, we're questioning every single process and procedure that we do,” he tells our hosts. From exports to new manufacturing opportunities, he sheds light on where he sees opportunities for the cooperative’s growth.

Next: Stan Ryan, food industry veteran and outgoing CEO of Darigold Inc. Where does he see the U.S. dairy industry going in the years ahead? What is one of the industry’s big, unique advantages? He answers all of that, and more.
