The safety of both our people and our products remains the dairy industry’s top priority. That’s why IDFA is pleased to announce a new partnership between our organization and the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) to provide the dairy processing industry and the public with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help protect the people making dairy products and improve their well-being.

Now available on IDFA.org is the OSHA and IDFA Alliance webpage, an information hub for the latest OSHA news, standards, and resources that are important dairy processors. Find information on everything from OSHA’s key standards, to federal law on worker rights and protection, to plant-ready graphics and communications for OSHA’s Safe + Sound Week.

In addition to this new partnership with OSHA, IDFA regularly convenes our Environment, Health and Safety Committee to develop IDFA positions and resources related to environmental, transportation, worker safety and health regulations, legislation and policies. Find out more information about the committee here.

IDFA is also now accepting applications for the 2022 Dairy Industry Safety Recognition Awards. The awards honor dairy processing facilities and trucking operations for outstanding worker safety performance and management. Please be sure to submit your application form no later than May 13, 2022. Thank you all for your unrelenting dedication to workplace safety.
