What role does modern food production play in shaping U.S. food and agriculture policy? How will the current administration resolve complex trade matters affecting agricultural and food interests?

Deputy Secretary Steve Censky, the second in command at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, will answer those questions and more when he provides the keynote address this month at the International Sweetener Colloquium in Aventura, Florida. Censky will deliver a robust presentation on his role at the department and the administration’s views on agricultural programs and policies, especially in the U.S. sweetener sector.

“Steve Censky will be the highest-ranking U.S. official to deliver our keynote address,” said Beth Hughes, IDFA senior director of international affairs. “Deputy Secretary Censky is well versed in modern food production and plays a critical role in shaping U.S. food and agriculture policy.”
