IRI Experts to Share Retail, Consumer Data at Sweetener Colloquium

Jan 31, 2018

How does a pint of ice cream reach the top of the market? “It's a remarkable story," said John Crawford, vice president of client insights for dairy at IRI, in a recent Los Angeles Times article featuring Halo Top ice cream and the numbers behind its success.

Crawford, a dairy market expert, will join his colleague Chris von der Linden, senior vice president of consumer and shopper marketing at IRI, as a featured speaker at the International Sweetener Colloquium, Feb. 11-14 in Orlando. They will review retail and consumer trends regarding channel preferences and shifts in shopper behavior and examine sweetener trends in key categories throughout the store.

Trends, Issues and Opportunities

For more than 35 years, the International Sweetener Colloquium has gathered key players from all sectors of the global sweetener industry to provide a dynamic look at the policies, politics and public perceptions that are driving today’s sweetener industry.

Co-hosted by IDFA and the Sweetener Users Association, the event will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes in Orlando. The event will offer in-depth analyses of international, U.S. and Mexican sweetener markets, as well as discussions of the trends, issues and opportunities facing the industry today.

Registration is still open online.
