Dairy Research Highlights Benefits of Milk Protein for Muscles

A new study included in the latest issue of "Dairy Research Highlights" showed that consuming a milk protein beverage combined with a resistance exercise program may help elderly individuals slow muscle loss as they age.

The newsletter also highlights new literature that supports consuming chocolate milk immediately after exercise and again at two hours post-exercise to restore carbohydrate to muscles and supply protein to repair damaged muscles.
