The Milk Processor Education Program partnered earlier this year with actress Nina Dobrev from the hit TV show “The Vampire Diaries” and her mom to launch the “Like Her, Like Me” program and contest with Seventeen magazine. The contest encouraged mothers and daughters to share how they influence each other and start the day off right with milk at breakfast.
Hundreds of mother-daughter teams from across the country were eager to participate. They submitted videos at www.TheBreakfastProject.com for a chance to co-star in a Milk Mustache ad in an upcoming issue of Seventeen magazine.
Voters across America – along with the “got milk?” campaign, Nina Dobrev and her mom – selected three special mother-and-daughter teams. They are the Molineauxs from Van Nuys, Calif, the Inserras from Upper Saddle River, N.J., and the Jhotas from Reading, Mass.
