The Milk Processor Education Program will work with select YMCA summer camps in three major cities to bring The Breakfast Project to life with the "Arranca Con Energia" (Start up with Energy) Summer Breakfast Program. The program will offer a series of breakfast events where MilkPEP will provide milk to nearly 1,000 camp goers and remind Hispanic families how important it is to start busy summer mornings with a good breakfast, including milk.

The events will open with a breakfast of cereal with milk, interactive stations for the children and a special appearance by a notable Hispanic athlete. The athlete will host a kid-friendly demonstration on his or her sport and encourage the campers to start the day with a healthy breakfast that includes milk so they'll have enough energy to enjoy all of the club's activities.

The program will kick off in June at a YMCA in Miami, followed by events at YMCA clubs in Houston and New York City in July.

Dairy companies interested in participating in an event may contact Melissa Malcolm, MilkPEP field marketing manager, at mmalcolm@milkpep.org or (443) 686-1334. Participating companies will have the opportunity to attend the events, engage with campers aged six to 14 and meet with media representatives in attendance.
