Martin Bates

President, Ingredient Solutions, Dairy Farmers of America, Inc.

Martin joined DFA in 2018 after a 25-year career with Fonterra and New Zealand dairy co-ops, where he most recently directed a joint venture partnership, expanding Fonterra’s global strategy and footprint in Russia. In his current role as President, Ingredient Solutions, Martin is responsible for DFA’s global ingredients business. Martin has extensive global experience in the dairy industry, including global operations and manufacturing, customer and government relations and global extended supply chain and optimization across a wide range of cultures and geographies.
