Jon Spainhour has been an integral part of the ever.ag team for over 15 years, focusing on whey, NFDM, cheese, and butter. He has extensive experience in helping clients develop strategic hedging programs that incorporate best practices from the merchandising (cash and carry), end user/buyer, and dairy processor’s perspective. Not only does he immerse himself with his clients in order to understand their unique hedging needs, but he has also co-authored software that allows users to execute these principles in a systemic, real-time manner. Jon focuses his time working with clients to help them understand the fundamentals of the dairy markets from both domestic and international perspectives. He currently writes about the whey and NFDM markets for the weekly Dairy Market Digest. Jon came to ever.ag in 2005 from Cargill Investor Services. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Finance.
