James West is President and CEO of DariFill, a 100% ESOP-owned company based in Westerville, Ohio, that designs, places, and services advanced filling equipment for ice cream and dairy manufacturers across North America. DariFill partners directly with producers to improve throughput, quality, and reliability on the plant floor.
Prior to DariFill, James led a global business unit at Hyperion Materials & Technologies, a KKR portfolio company, where he implemented a Danaher Business System–style operating model and broad-based employee ownership. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at multiple technology companies and began his career at IBM after earning a degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech. He also holds an MBA from Dartmouth.
James serves on the boards of Specialized Fabrication Equipment Group and Galaxy Group, both Gladstone Investment portfolio companies, advising on strategy, growth, and operational excellence.
