Based in Houston, Heather O’Keefe leads Egon Zehnder’s U.S. Consumer Products Practice and Family Business Advisory Practice. Heather advises clients on executive recruiting, management appraisals, development, succession planning, and organization strategy.
Before joining Egon Zehnder, Heather held a range of marketing and general management roles with The Coca-Cola Company, Kraft Foods, and Paris Presents Inc, a family-owned beauty products producer. She began her career in the Chicago office of Bain & Company, advising clients in the consumer products, electronics, and financial services industries on topics including post-merger integration, breakout growth strategy, supply chain strategy, and procurement.
Heather earned a BA in economics, mathematical methods in the social sciences, and sociology from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. When not working, she can be found golfing, cooking, and relaxing with her husband of 16 years, daughter (11), son (7) and dog (12).
