Bruno Spire is the Nestlé Procurement Sustainability Lead for Commodities.
24 years of experience in the food industry, with a strong background in procurement for FMCG companies. Bruno began his career in Food at Royal Numico in the Netherlands. He joined Nestlé in 2008 in Switzerland to manage the sourcing of dairy ingredients Over the course of my career, he has accumulated 15 years of experience leading global sourcing activities for dairy derivatives.
During my career Bruno had the opportunity to work in USA, The Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates where he served 5 years as Head of Procurement for the North Africa & Middle East region.
In 2025, he transitioned into the role of Procurement Sustainability Lead for Commodities, to define the long term strategical approach embedding sustainability as a key sourcing criteria, focusing on supporting the deployment of sustainability practices at the farms, with a particular emphasis on dairy, Nestlé’s largest commodity category.
