Ann Gent is senior vice president and general manager of Food & Beverage, North America for Ecolab Inc., the global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services that provide and protect clean water, safe food, abundant energy and healthy environments. Ecolab’s 40,000 employees deliver comprehensive programs and services to the food, energy, healthcare, industrial and hospitality markets in more than 160 countries.
In her current position, Ms. Gent is responsible for Ecolab’s business in the dairy, brewing, beverage, food processing and protein industries. Previously, Ann was vice president of U.S. plant sales leading a team of 400 field and technical support associates. Prior to assuming this role, Ms. Gent was vice president and general manager for Food & Beverage ANZ leading a team of 150 associates in Australia, New Zeeland, and Fiji. Gent joined Nalco (an Ecolab Company) in 1992 as a Product Specialist in the Paper Services Division.
Ms. Gent earned a master’s degree from DePaul University, and graduated from Miami University, with Bachelor of Science degree Chemistry.
