From rampant inflation to strong exports, from increased milk production to faltering consumer demand, 2022 presented the dairy industry with plenty of tailwinds and headwinds. In the latest episode of The Dairy Download, we feature a panel of all-star guests who discuss this year’s hot topics and help us take a look into 2023.

Joining our year-end episode is Mike McCully, Owner of the McCully Group, who discusses domestic dairy demand and the impacts of rising prices. We’re also joined by Matt Gould, Senior Director with Ever.Ag, who sheds light on China’s easing Covid restrictions and gives his forecast on the country’s 2023 dairy imports. Ag journalist Chip Flory rounds out the panel with insights into grain and feed markets, and how they might steer dairy prices next year.

Our hosts, Phil Plourd and Kathleen Wolfley, lead the discussion. They also tell us what got them through 2022, and what they expect to see in 2023.
