Consumer preferences change rapidly, volatility impacts margins along the value chain and several trade barriers remain for dairy. How can executives meet these challenges and position their companies for future growth? Industry experts at McKinsey & Company, Inc., a renowned global consulting firm, have partnered with IDFA to examine these and other issues in the domestic and global dairy industry. They’ll unveil new research on dairy consumers and examine strategies for growth at Dairy Forum 2019, Jan. 20-23 in Orlando, Fla.

In the closing session, McKinsey consultants will reveal insights from a consumer survey covering 1,000 U.S. households, which were asked detailed questions about their dairy-buying habits and views of dairy products. These results will provide further insight into changes in dairy consumption and how current consumer trends are impacting dairy purchasing today.

They’ll then cover dairy growth strategies for U.S. and international markets, including strategies to capture global growth in the context of recent tariffs and future global demand. They’ll additionally discuss organizational and supply chain excellence in the dairy industry.
