IDFA continues to welcome new members of the 116th Congress to its office in Washington, D.C.
Last week, IDFA hosted a meet-and-greet with Rep. TJ Cox, D-Calif., who represents California’s 21st congressional district. Cox is a member of the House Agriculture Committee and the Natural Resources Committee. Attendees included representatives from IDFA member companies and other industry partners.
At the breakfast reception, Cox described his experience as a new member of Congress and provided an overview of his goals for the 116th Congress. The conversation then turned to a roundtable discussion focused on labor, trade, farm bill implementation and other emerging issues.
IDFA looks forward to hosting more new members of Congress at future events. To learn more, contact Colin Newman, IDFA manager of political programs, at cnewman@idfa.org.
