The Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy has released Spanish-language versions of resources on establishing effective pathogen controls in a dairy manufacturing facility.
Clay Hough, IDFA senior group vice president and general counsel, is a member of the Innovation Center’s food safety team, which created the resources.
“These documents provide valuable guidance and insight for dairy industry professionals to help maintain the positive food-safety track record dairy products have enjoyed,” said Hough. “We’re pleased to share these food safety best practices with a broader audience.”
The documents are the Control of Listeria monocytogenes Guidance for the U.S. Dairy Industry, the Dairy Equipment Design Checklist, the Dairy Facility Checklist and a sample Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure.
