IDFA continues to demonstrate that the dairy industry has a powerful economic impact – $620 billion in total – on the American economy. Did you know that dairy also indirectly supports a broad range of industries across the nation, like legal services companies? The dairy industry supports nearly 14,370 jobs in the legal services industry. Almost 5,750 jobs are supported by the dairy industry when, for example, firms hire legal counsel to represent them in a number of business-related issues. Furthermore, over 8,620 jobs depend on dairy industry employees, or those of their suppliers, using legal services for their own personal issues. All told, the dairy industry creates over $1.3 billion in wages and $3.0 billion in economic impact for the American legal services industry.
