The dairy products industry in California employs nearly 105,000 skilled individuals, generates $5.34 billion in direct wages and has an overall economic impact of more than $29.5 billion according to IDFA’s powerful new interactive tool. California has the largest overall economic impact of all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

This tool was designed to help tell the story of the economic power the dairy products industry has through creating good jobs, contributing to the federal and local tax base and providing opportunities for suppliers and others across the supply chain.
