Excitement continues to build for ProFood Tech, which will attract high-level buyers from every food and beverage sector to Chicago next April. Booth space reservations for the inaugural show have already surpassed 113,000 square feet, which represents more than two-thirds of the total projected space. Nearly 250 suppliers of processing equipment, packaging, ingredients, co-packing services and business solutions have committed to the show to date.

Powered by PACK EXPO, Anuga and IDFA, ProFood Tech will allow exhibitors to showcase their latest technology and innovations to help food and beverage companies find ways to satisfy exacting consumer demands while cutting costs and building profits. In addition, IDFA is shaping a dynamic conference program that will feature renowned keynote speakers, recognized leaders in the food and beverage industry, the latest in consumer research and trends, best practices in food processing and engineering, networking events and more.

IDFA has extended the deadline for proposing presentation topics and speakers to July 20. The conference program will focus on seven key areas:

  • Business and leadership development,
  • Consumer trends and marketing,
  • Food processing and technology,
  • Health and lifestyle,
  • Regulations and food safety,
  • Supply chain management and
  • Sustainability.

The program will allow for a variety of presentation formats, including panel discussions, debates, town hall-type meetings and rapid-fire roundtables, among others. Read more and submit proposals at profoodtech.com.

ProFood Tech will be held April 4-6, 2017, at McCormick Place in Chicago. Information on attendee registration and housing will be available in the fall.
