Innovation continues to be one of the driving forces in the dairy industry. Two of IDFA’s Gold Business Partners have opened their doors to dairy processors who want to learn more about the partners’ new technologies, equipment and services.

IDFA has included facility tours with Ecolab Inc. and Delkor Systems, Inc. that will run simultaneously on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 20, as a during the Milk and Cultured Dairy Products Conference in Minneapolis, Minn.

“Getting an in-depth look at the operations at Ecolab and Delkor is a unique opportunity for all of our attendees,” said John Allan, vice president of regulatory affairs and international standards at IDFA. “The tours will give an invaluable perspective on how our Gold Business Partners respond to challenges and changes, and offer innovations and new methods to better serve milk and cultured dairy companies.”

The Ecolab Research Development & Engineering (RD&E) Center welcomes attendees to participate in a 1:30- 4:00 p.m. tour highlighting Ecolab’s Global RD&E capabilities as the global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services. Guests are invited to learn and appreciate the full breadth of products and services that allow Ecolab to protect what is vital: clean water, safe food, abundant energy and healthy environments.

Delkor Systems, Inc.

Delkor invited participants to a tour of the Delkor manufacturing plant, starting at  2:45 p.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to view and understand several different packaging lines, including the new MSP-200 robotic case packing system, a Spot-Pak® line for both milk and yogurt, a flexing high-speed cup line and the new FSMA standard Delkor Confirm vision system. 

In additon to these two exciting presentations, Steve Jones, CEO of Fairlife and former executive of The Coca-Cola Company, will kick off the conference with a discussion of his company’s new reduced-fat, ultra-filtered milk. His highly anticipated presentation will cover innovation, technology and meeting consumer expectations.
