The House expects to take up its version of the Farm Bill next week, and dairy policy is shaping up to be a primary issue.

Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH) has again expressed his concerns about dairy provisions included in the bill approved by the House Committee on Agriculture. He indicated he would support efforts on the House floor to change them appropriately.

The Senate passed its version of the Farm Bill last week and now must wait for a House version to pass before they can conference later this summer.
