Happy National Ice Cream Month! IDFA has prepared a variety of activities to promote ice cream, starting with the Capitol Hill Ice Cream Party and the release of the results from IDFA's ice cream survey.

The next big event is a Twitter party scheduled for Wednesday, July 25, 2:00–3:00 p.m. Participants can attend the party using the hashtag #icecreammonth.

IDFA is working with The Motherhood, a network of well-connected mom bloggers, to help prepare, promote and moderate the party. The Motherhood network will invite tens of thousands of followers to join the party and share their love of ice cream.

"IDFA's goal is to get as many people as possible talking about the good times they've had while eating ice cream and to keep the conversation going long after National Ice Cream Month has passed," said Marti Pupillo, IDFA director of communications. "During the party, we'll also feature a trivia contest and award prizes to five lucky winners. Let's work together to make an online splash for ice cream this month."

We Need Your Help

IDFA member companies that donate ice cream, ice cream gift baskets or ice cream coupons for the bloggers and five contest winners will be mentioned and thanked during the Twitter party as a co-host and sponsor. Later this week, IDFA will send out invitations so all interested members can participate and promote the party to their customers.
