The majority of moms do not support removing chocolate milk from schools, according to a recent survey conducted by the Milk Processor Education Program.

The survey of 1,000 moms found that more than half (54 percent) would oppose a decision to stop offering chocolate milk in school. Nearly three-quarters (71 percent) agree chocolate milk is a great way for kids to get nutrients they need, and 80 percent believe removing chocolate milk from a child’s diet does not significantly reduce added sugar intake but it does remove critical nutrients kids need for growth and development.
