Michelle Matto, IDFA's nutrition and labeling consultant, recently returned from the American Dietetic Association's Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo with updates on the latest nutrition trends.

While gluten, sodium and Vitamin D garnered significant attention at the conference, Matto said a number of registered dieticians voiced their concerns about the role of processed foods in the American diet.
