As a follow-up to testimony presented at a federal order hearing held in May, IDFA urged the U.S. Department of Agriculture to adopt only the proposals to eliminate the producer-handler exemption and to eliminate small plants from regulation. IDFA and the National Milk Producers Federation testified in support of these two proposals at the hearing.
