USDA to Reconvene Hearing on Price Formulas for Second Time
IDFA Chief Economist Bob Yonkers and Senior Research Analyst John Rutherford joined several IDFA members in Indianapolis last week for the reconvened hearing to consider proposals to amend the Class III and Class IV product price formulas. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) hearing ran April 9-13 to receive additional testimony on 20 proposed amendments. Representatives from these member companies testified last week: Davisco Foods International, Inc.; Foremost Farms USA; Great Lakes Cheese, Co., Inc.; HP Hood LLC; National All-Jersey, Inc.; Saputo Cheese USA Inc.; and Sorrento Lactalis, Inc.
