Wisconsin Senator Asks GAO to Study CME Cheese Trading

Last Friday, U.S. Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI) called on the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to study whether cheese trading on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) is susceptible to price manipulation. Feingold, along with Senators Arlen Specter (R-PA) and Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY), wrote to the GAO comptroller requesting the study.
