Tim Hopkins has spent over 35 years working in the consumer packaged foods industry, beginning his career in sales with the Pillsbury company. After earning his MBA, he spent over 12 years in various marketing roles at Best Foods and Group Danone. Since 2001, Tim has worked in the ice cream and frozen novelties sector, including over 17 years at the Friendly Ice Cream Corporation, most recently as President / General Manager. From 2018 to 2019 Tim held the role of Chief Executive Officer at PLM Operations, LLC, a leading manufacturer of frozen novelties targeted to the Hispanic market. In July of 2019, Tim joined Turkey Hill Dairy as Chief Executive Officer. Tim previously served on the IDFA Board in his role as president and general manager of Friendly Ice Cream. Tim also serves on the board of directors for Polytainers, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of plastic packaging solutions for the food industry.
Tim and his wife Aliina have four daughters and live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
