Matt Gould is a well-known and well-connected dairy analyst. He leads research and economic analysis for ever.ag’s dairy division.

Matt has spoken on dairy-related topics around the country – from New York to Texas to California – and as far away as South Korea. Last year, he co-authored the CME whitepaper on hedging Class I milk and co-led a process to reform California’s quota milk pricing system.

His insights are regularly requested and he has been quoted in news articles on industry subjects including recent citations in Bloomberg, The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post. Matt also writes regularly for Progressive Dairyman and Hoard’s Dairyman.

Mr. Gould holds a B.S. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and grew up on a dairy farm in Pavilion, NY that is now in its third generation of ownership.

Matt authors ever.ag’s Monthly Dairy Price Outlook and provides USDA pre- and post-report analysis on USDA Milk Production, Cold Storage and Dairy Products reports. He also provides research to support client’s risk management programs and writes The Dairy Market Analyst, a weekly industry newsletter.
