While the deadline to file individual taxes is near, there’s still time to register for IDFA's Dairy Accounting and Finance Workshop, May 12-13, in Rosemont, Ill. “The workshop is more than an accounting seminar,” said Neil Moran, IDFA senior vice president. “It will provide valuable information and tools for all dairy accountants and financial managers who want to further their careers and enhance their understanding of corporate financial functions that can lead to increased profitability.”

The Dairy Accounting and Finance Workshop is presented by Herbein + Company, Inc., a professional services firm that has advised dairy companies for more than 40 years. Attendees will review the ins and outs of milk pricing, tax credits, cost segregation, federal and state milk reports, cost centers and how to measure plant efficiency. Other sessions will review the latest financial software, best practices in financial reporting, industry news and industry benchmarks for cheese, ice cream, milk and cultured products.

Sixteen hours of Accounting and Auditing Continuing Professional Education Credits (CPE) will be awarded with the completion of this workshop.
