Dan Rackley, director of regulatory affairs, Dean Foods, passed away on January 29 at the age of 65.
Prior to joining Dean Foods in 2001, Rackley was director of the milk program for his home state of Oklahoma. He served many years as chairman of the National Conference on Interstate Milk Shipments (NCIMS) and was a member of several NCIMS committees.
"Dan was active in a number of IDFA and Milk Industry Foundation committees," said IDFA Vice President Cary Frye. "He was a true leader in the dairy industry and a good friend to many of us at IDFA, as well his colleagues though out the industry. He will be deeply missed."
