Cary Frye, IDFA senior vice president for regulatory affairs, received the International Dairy Federation Prize of Excellence this week at the IDF World Dairy Summit in Istanbul, Turkey. The Prize of Excellence is an award given in recognition of an outstanding contribution to the work of IDF. Cary has been involved with the IDF for the last two decades as a member of the U.S. National delegation, serving as vice chair and chair of the Standing Committee on Labeling and Terminology. She also served twice as a member of the IDF Board of Directors and has represented IDF at many Codex Labelling meeting.
"The IDF is a wonderful forum for bringing together colleagues from around the world to share our knowledge and ideas for how dairy can nourish the world, nurture our livestock, and improve the safety and quality of milk. IDF has accomplished so much of its impressive work program due to the commitment and hard work of volunteers and dedicated staff with a similar passion," Frye said. "Working with you and so many esteemed dairy colleagues from around the globe has enriched my professional understanding and furthered my awareness of the common challenges our industry faces."
