The Foreign Agricultural Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture today released a summary of the benefits that the Trans-Pacific Partnership would bring to the U.S. dairy industry. “In 2014, the United States exported $3.6 billion of dairy products to the TPP region and $7.1 billion to the world,” the summary report said, adding, “The TPP Agreement is necessary for U.S. dairy products to remain competitive.” The report details how U.S. dairy products would fare in each of the partner countries under TPP.
