Heather Soubra, IDFA director of executive office and special projects, recently completed comprehensive training at The Protocol School of Washington to become a corporate etiquette and international protocol consultant. She is now trained to teach interactive seminars that give executives and other professionals the skills to handle a variety of global situations where business is conducted or promoted.

“In today’s global business environment, it has become progressively more important to know how to communicate effectively across cultures,” said Soubra. “Developing the skills to understand various cultures, including communication patterns, different business customs, expectations and taboos will put your partners at ease, and lead to increasingly successful business opportunities and outcomes.”

Members with questions about international protocol may contact Soubra at hsoubra@idfa.org.
