Gary Summers, marketing director of Meadow Gold Utah, was named the grand prize winner of the second annual Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP) "PEPPY" Awards. Summers used MilkPEP programs at retail, in schools and on a local level, tying them in with his dairy’s brand and significantly increasing sales. The PEPPY winners were announced last month at MilkPEP's 2008 Dairy Sales and Marketing Meeting in Salt Lake City. The awards honor outstanding salespeople and dairy representatives who work directly with customers to implement MilkPEP programs, using promotions and promotional materials, research and other resources.
