As IDFA is now one association, a new IDFA Executive Council has been appointed to carry out its fiduciary responsibilities and operations of the association.
The next phase is to finalize the names of individuals to serve on five Industry Segment Boards (with 30-35 members each) that represent fluid milk, ice cream, cheese, yogurt and cultured products, and dairy-derived ingredients (with flexibility for additional products and Industry Segment Boards in the future). Board members will be tasked with providing strategic vision, policy direction and leadership on segment-specific issues.
Candidates for these boards will be industry leaders and decision-makers in their respective organizations, and we encourage all leaders of dairy processing companies and Gold Business Partners who are interested in serving to complete this brief online interest form and submit to hsoubra@idfa.org. We would be honored to have your engagement and participation.
The interim IDFA Nomination and Governance Committee convened in November and December to nominate officers and members of the IDFA Executive Council and chairs and vice chairs of the Industry Segment Boards. As they will convene on an annual basis to nominate candidates for open seats and renew terms, your interest in participating in the future should be indicated on this form.
The IDFA team will work with the chairs and vice chairs of the Industry Segment Boards to determine the segment board member candidates between January and March. The segment boards will convene for their first board meetings in March.
