Understanding how to effectively communicate with colleagues, both within and outside of your organization, is the basis for creating positive relationships and accomplishing goals and objectives. Understanding Purposeful Communication creates the culture and capability to do just that. Would you like to learn how?

Join IDFA’s Women in Dairy for an interactive workshop about purposeful communication with special guest Susan Paley of Bright Spots Coaching. In this workshop, we will unpack the ingredients of healthy, respectful, effective communication. We will establish a common understanding of purposeful communication and leverage a framework for creating it. Participants will engage in instruction, discussion, and exercises to uncover the fundamental and nuanced elements of communication that build a positive culture, aligned with the organization's values.

You will learn and practice strategies and tools, as well as examine what gets in the way of healthy, respectful, effective communications. Participants will walk away with a personal plan for applying the framework in their own communications going forward.

After all, culture doesn’t happen by itself. It is created one conversation at a time.
