Lunch Session: Elevated Leadership
Doug Conant, Founder of ConantLeadership, former CEO of Campbell Soup Company, former President of Nabisco Foods, former Head of Corporate Strategy at Kraft, and former marketing associate at General Mills shares his remarkable leadership story and the insights learned over his 30+ years working in the CPG space. He says finding his leadership purpose is what helped him become the leader he wanted to be and to have the courage of his convictions when it mattered most. In 1984, Doug Conant was fired without warning and with barely an explanation. He felt hopeless and stuck but, surprisingly, this defeating turn of events was the best thing that ever happened to him. Embarking on a journey of self-reflection and discovery, he forged a path that revolutionized his leadership and transformed his career trajectory. Doug teaches leaders how to work through the same steps that he used on his transformational journey. Now, today’s leaders who feel stuck and overwhelmed finally have a blueprint for elevating their leadership to make meaningful change in their organizations and in the world.

Breakfast Session: The Future of Work Begins with Conscious Leadership Today
Whisperings about the future of work have developed into full-fledged conversations. Still, we have not yet arrived at a consensus on what exactly the future of work entails and how leaders can position their organizations and their people for success during such a transformative period in the workplace and beyond. Bringing a holistic perspective from inside some of the world’s leading organizations, Ginny shares her insights and wisdom on the ways conscious, effective leaders can get the best out of their people and, in turn, create high-performing teams for the future. She will outline the importance of beginning with organizational health when guiding your workforce into the future — paying special attention to how to assess, attract, and hire the best talent, and establish a culture rooted in accountability, trust, integrity, and inclusion. Ginny goes beyond ideas and offers leaders practical tactics and processes for optimizing talent, resources, productivity, and profitability to create a disruption-proof workplace that is equipped for the long run.

How to play a golf scramble?
In a scramble, each golfer in the foursome takes a shot from the tee. From that point, the team decides who has the best drive, and all players advance forward to that spot to take their second shots. This process continues, with the best shot being taken each time, until a member of the team is able to hole out. The team’s score for that particular hole is recorded as the number of team strokes it took to get the ball in the cup.
