FDA Webinar to Review Draft Guidance on Preventive Controls

The Food and Drug Administration’s Foods and Veterinary Program will hold a webinar September 19, 1-2 p.m. Eastern time, to discuss the agency’s hazard analysis and risk-based preventive controls for human food draft guidance, which became available for public comment late last month. This guidance provides the first five chapters of what will be a multi-chapter guidance to help businesses comply with the Preventive Controls for Human Food rule under the Food Safety Modernization Act.
