With just nine weeks to go, the dairy industry is gearing up for the biennial International Dairy Show on September 15-18 in McCormick Place, Chicago. To date, exhibitors featuring new technologies in equipment, packaging, ingredients and services have booked 80,000 square feet of floor space.

The co-located event with the Dairy Show, Process Expo and InterBev Process will feature 1,000 exhibitors representing food, dairy and beverage companies from across the U.S. and abroad. They will draw more than 20,000 individuals to booths covering a total of 325,000 square feet.

What do previous attendees say about the value they gain and insight they take home from exhibitors at the Dairy Show? A quarter of the attendees responding to the 2013 post-show survey stated they expect to realize anywhere between $100,000 to more than $1 million in profits and cost savings directly from a solution they found at the International Dairy Show.

Facts and figures like this one are highlighted in a recent IDFA video, now featured on the Dairy Show homepage. The video tour offers a glimpse of the networking activity, educational program sessions and interactive displays showcased at the co-located Dairy Show, Process Expo and InterBev Process in 2013.

“We’re extremely excited about the continuing growth of the show,” said Neil Moran, senior vice president of IDFA. “We have listened to our stakeholders, made significant improvements to the show and will offer our exhibitors and attendees the ROI they are looking for in the 2015 International Dairy Show.”
