The Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP) recently launched a photo contest as a part of its new BUILT WITH CHOCOLATE MILK campaign. Running from April 10 to August 3 of this year, the contest encourages athletes to show the world how they're BUILT WITH CHOCOLATE MILK to promote low-fat chocolate milk as a nutritious and enjoyable way to recover after physical activity.

“The campaign’s overall goal is to improve the perception of chocolate milk as a post-workout recovery beverage and educate exercisers on the high-quality protein and nutrients scientifically shown to help rebuild and repair muscle,” said Miranda Abney, marketing director for MilkPEP.

“Through the most recent ad campaign, featuring professional basketball player Kevin Love, and now the photo contest, the campaign aims to grow awareness by generating positive conversation surrounding the post-workout recovery benefits of chocolate milk, and ultimately inspire adult exercisers to perform at their best.”

How the Contest Works

Adult athletes can upload photos of themselves training, racing and recovering with chocolate milk to Twitter or Instagram using #BuildItChallenge and #promo, and tag chocolate milk on Twitter (@chocolate_milk) or Instagram (@BuiltWithChocolateMilk) between April 10 and August 3. Three top finalists will be selected to create an image or video, sharing how their training journeys are BUILT WITH CHOCOLATE MILK.

MilkPEP will share the photos of the three finalists on BUILT WITH CHOCOLATE MILK social channels, where fans can vote for their favorite from August 31 to September 7. The winner, to be announced on September 23, will receive an all-expenses-paid trip along with three guests to run and recover at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon and Half Marathon on November 15.
