USDA Report Shows Decrease in Projected Sugar Supply

The World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report released January 10 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture reflects a decrease from last month in projected U.S. sugar supply for fiscal year 2013-2014 by 94,000 short tons, raw value, mainly due to lower production in Louisiana. Total use is unchanged, according to the report.
