Working with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce last week, IDFA and 250 other business organizations sent a joint letter to members of Congress, urging them to pass a Continuing Resolution to avoid the shutdown and to act quickly to raise the nation’s debt limit.

“Congress cannot continue ‘kicking the can down the road;’ it’s time to take corrective action to address the unaffordable path of entitlement spending, to stabilize federal finances and to undertake fundamental tax reform to strengthen the American economy,” the letter said.
