IDFA’s repeated calls for dairy pricing reform were recently taken up by John Stossel, an investigative journalist focusing on news affecting consumers. In a column titled “Why Is Government Fixing the Price of Milk?” at Reason.com,

Stossel explains that there’s nothing different about farming or dairy production that calls for complicated federal pricing formulas or subsidies. Instead, he makes a compelling case that prices should be set by buyers and sellers, saying “When politicians micromanage markets, consumers suffer.”
