U.S. Dairy Exports Grow Under FTA with Korea

The U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement that took effect March 15 is providing a solid boost to U.S. dairy through reduced tariffs and expanded market opportunities. Exports of U.S. cheese have flourished under the agreement, with mozzarella and cream cheese exports increasing 129.3 percent, and Cheddar and Colby growing by 19.7 percent, according to the U.S. Korea Connect website.
