IDFA hosted a group of French processors and producers this week, sharing information about domestic and global industry trends and IDFA's position on U.S. dairy policy reform. The group was in Washington, D.C., as part of a mission visit that included a visit to two dairy farms near Gettysburg, Pa.

The visitors represented the National Interprofessional Center for the Dairy Economy (CNEIL) and its constituent organizations:

  • French Dairy Processors' Association (ATLA)
  • National Federation of Milk Cooperatives (FNCL)
  • National Federation of Milk Producers (FNPL)

While in D.C., the group plans to visit the 2012 Summer Fancy Food Show at the Washington Convention Center and participate in the Cheeses of France Campaign event.
